Maisto’s 1:24 scale Special Edition Die-Cast line brilliantly bridges the gap between collectables and toys. These beautifully sculpted licensed vehicles have the remarkable detail that will astonish any hardcore die-cast collector, while still managing to incorporate the free-wheeling play value of a children’s toy. Each vehicle is made of high quality die-cast metal as well as plastic parts, and is a fantastically detailed scaled replica of the licensed car or truck. All items boast opening doors (some with opening hoods and trunks). Bring home a 1:24 scale replica of your own vehicle for your child to play with or use it for home decoration. As always Maisto brings you only the finest licensed vehicles, including the pictured Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
The Jeep Wrangler is a compact and mid-size (Wrangler Unlimited models) four-wheel drive off-road and sport utility vehicle (SUV), manufactured by Jeep, and is currently in its third generation. The Wrangler Rubicon (named for the famed Rubicon Trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains) was introduced in the summer of 2002. It featured front and rear air actuated locking Dana 44 axles with the Rock-Trac NV241 4:1 ratio transfer case, diamond plate rocker panels, 16-inch alloy wheels, and Goodyear MTR P245/75-R16 tires. From 2003 and 2004 featured a standard Mercedes Benz NV3550 five-speed manual transmission, which changed in 2004 (2005 model) to the NSG370, a Mercedes-sourced six-speed. The optional 42RLE four-speed automatic transmission was available from 2002 to 2006.
